What is the difference between a grille screen and a regular screen?
Grid background walls are a newly emerging trend, featuring a unique tendency to return to natural textures. This is closely related to their versatile style as well as their high aesthetic value. Although grid panels are inexpensive, they do not lose their aesthetic value and perfectly blend with various styles to highlight texture.
LED grid screens are displays composed of light rods arranged in a grid shape, widely used in building curtains, rooftops, and more, playing a very important role in beautifying cities. So, what is the difference between LED grid screens and ordinary screens? How are LED grid screens waterproof?
Differences between grid screens and ordinary screens:
1. Transparency
Due to the hollow design structure, grid screens have a transparency rate between 25% and 70%. Ordinary display screen enclosures are sealed and do not allow transparency.
2. Maintenance Convenience
When repairing a grid screen, you only need to remove and replace one set of lights, which is simple and quick. Ordinary screen maintenance requires removing the entire module or enclosure, making maintenance more troublesome.
3. Environmental Integration
General displays require large-scale steel frame structures during construction, which takes a lot of time and effort. They are also opaque; when not lit, they appear as a black block, seriously affecting the building's appearance. LED grid screens are thin and beautiful, with low structural load requirements for buildings. When not lit, they have a certain degree of invisibility and blend well with the surrounding environment. High transparency ensures lighting requirements for floors, glass facades, windows, and other lighting structures without affecting the building's appearance.
4. Weight
Ordinary screens weigh over 30 kilograms per square meter. If the screen area is too large, it challenges the load capacity of the screen's steel structure and the existing building structure. Grid screens weigh about 15 kilograms per square meter and require only a small amount of steel structure for installation in buildings.
5. Energy Saving
Ordinary screens have a high density of lamp beads, high power consumption, and require fans or air conditioning systems for cooling, resulting in high overall energy consumption. LED grid screens feature a hollow structural design, use safe low-voltage power supplies, and have a reasonable distribution of high-heat components. Their energy savings exceed those of ordinary screens by more than 40%.
